What you will actually do (day to day)
  • Partnerships and donor engagement – Research potential partners and donors. Prepare MOUs, donor profiles, and communications. Help organize donor briefings, webinars, and roundtables.
  • Programme coordination – Track progress against the annual workplan. Support internal meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Director and Board support – Manage the Director’s calendar, travel, and mission notes. Organize GDF Board meetings, prepare materials, and track decisions.
  • Procurement and administration – Handle logistics for events and workshops. Support procurement processes, including drafting Terms of Reference and reviewing applications.
What they are looking for (your checklist)
  • Master’s degree in Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or related field + 2 years experience. OR Bachelor’s + 4 years experience.
  • At least 2 years (with Master’s) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s) of relevant work in international development, programme coordination, partnerships, or donor engagement.
  • Experience in business development and donor engagement. You should know how to talk to funders.
  • Strong communication skills and experience supporting high‑level events and dialogues.
  • Familiarity with procurement and administrative procedures inside a large organization (UN experience is a big plus).
  • Knowledge of disability rights frameworks or inclusive development is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Fluent English required. French or Spanish are strong assets.
  • Ability to work remotely, manage multiple priorities, and use Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
